You approach from the east. The
house perches just below the crest of the road so it
isn’t visible until you are within about 100 yards.
The lake is on the other side of the house and the
creek/ravine is to the left (southwest).

Arriving at the house you are in a
relatively intimate space between the main house and the
carriage house (behind you in this picture). The driveway
winds around the “back” of the house.
Entering via the front door you will walk upon a small
porch/deck (not yet constructed)and then pass between two
massive stone piers and under a rough-hewn antique beam (not
installed yet in this photo). The panoramic view is to
